Star Wars: Visions to Get Sneak Peek at Upcoming Anime Expo Lite

The highly anticipated animated anthology series Star Wars: Visions will get its first sneak peek at the Anime Expo Lite in July.

The series was first announced in December during Disney’s Investor’s Day and instantly garnered interest from Star Wars fans who not only love animated content, but were excited about the premise of short films created by the world’s most talented anime creators.

Star Wars: Visions will feature ten visions from the leading Japanese anime studios and the first preview of the series will occur July 3rd, during Anime Expo Lite’s online event.

In a press release today, Lucasfilm provided more details about the event:

Join host and pop culture maven Chastity Vicencio and Lucasfilm’s Jacqui Lopez (Executive Producer), James Waugh (Executive Producer), Josh Rimes (Executive Producer), and Qubic Pictures’ Justin Leach (Co-Executive Producer) and Kanako Shirasaki (Producer) for an inside look at Star Wars: Visions before the series debuts on Disney+ later this year.

The panel will start at 3 PM (PST) on July 3rd and will last for thirty minutes. Tune in for a sneak peek that is sure to leave you excited for this all-new vision of our favorite galaxy far, far away!

You can buy an online ticket to AnimeExpo for $5. The cost of your ticket is a donation that goes to Hate is A Virus, a nonprofit community of mobilizers and amplifiers to dismantle racism and hate.
